If you took a math course at any self-respecting research university, chances are you know LaTeX. You may not know it by name, but it produces documents with a very distinct formatting. So if you ever had a math quiz like mine, such was your enemy.
This summer I set about learning this mystical language and adapted its beautiful math symbol library to make my tests. It takes some doing, but you can make very elegant looking high school tests with this system. And it beats the pants off cursing Word and its alignment/tabbing foibles.
