Inspired by the work of Dan Myer, I have opened up a little journal whose main goal is to share the curriculum development I'm doing. I am an engineer by degree and spent many many hours behind math textbooks, so the aim is to take a subject I enjoy and make it something that teenagers don't hate as much (I'm realistic). I currently teach Pre-Caculus but have taught Algebra II in the past. So how I do go from lectures and note writing to natural discovery? We shall see. Any major projects I undertake will be pulled out separately, mostly for my benefit and for anyone that may wander by in the future.
I'm also a technology nerd, so commentary on tech stories of the day will also appear. This is a combination of my two greatest interests, and how I use one to serve the other.
